1.Mighty Good Leader
Flooded by an ocean
Of some mixed emotions
They got you down again
Pride and passion physical attraction
Whatever thing you're in
These temptations causing you frustrations
What you need is a friend
Someone who loves you who is above you
Take away all your sin
Chorus
Help is on the way
Help is on the way
A mighty good leader is on the way
He's the only one gonna come to save the day
It's all right, yeah, uh-huh, it's ok
'cause a mighty good leader is on the way
Now this someone
Knows where you come from
Doesn't care where you've been
He can put back, pieces that you lack
Make you whole again
2.Underdog
I am so weak and i'm so tired
It's hard for me to
Find enough strength to feed the fires
That fuel my ego
And consequently all my pride has all but died
Which leaves me
Down on my knees
Back to the place i
Should have started from
Chorus
Been beat up
Been broken down
Nowhere but up
When you're facedown
On the ground
I'm in last place
If i place at all
But there's hope for this underdog!
That's the way, uh-huh, we like it!
That's the way, uh-huh, we like it!
You can call me the underdog
I'm in this race to win a prize
The odds against me
The world has plans for my demise
What they don't see
Is that a winner is not judged by his small size
But by the substitute he picks to run the race
And mine's already won
3.Get Down
Lavishly our lives are wasted
Humbleness is left untasted
You can't live your life to please yourself, yeah
That's a tip from my mistakes
Exactly what it doesn't take
To win you've got to come in last place
To live your life you've got to lose it
And all the losers get a crown
Chorus:
I get down and he lifts me up
I get down and he lifts me up
I get down and he lifts me up
I get down
All i need's another day
Where i can't seem to get away
From the many things that drag me down, yeah
I'm sure you've had a day like me
Where nothing seems to set you free
From the burdens you can't carry all alone
In your weakness he is stronger
In your darkness he shines through
When you're crying he's your comfort
When your all alone, he's carrying you
Chorus
This valley is so deep
I can barely see the sun
I cry out for mercy, lord
You lift me up again
4.Good Life
I've watched my dreams all fade away
And blister in the sun
Everything i've ever had is unraveled and undone
I've set upon a worthless stack
Of my ambitious plans
And the people that i've loved the most
Have turned their backs and ran
Chorus:
This is the good life
I've lost everything
I could ever want
And ever dream of
This is the good life
I found everything
I could ever need
Here in your arms
Loneliness has left me searching
For someone to love
Poverty has changed my view
Of what true riches are
Sorrow's opened up my eyes
To see what real joy is
Pain has been the catalyst
To my heart's happiness
Chorus
What good would it be
If you had everything
But you wouldn't have
The only thing you need
Chorus
5.Let My Love Open The Door
When people keep repeating
That you'll never fall in love
When everybody keeps retreating
But you can't seem to get enough
Chorus
Let my love open the door
Let my love open the door
Let my love open the door
To your heart
When everything feels all over
When everybody seems unkind
I'll give you a four leaf clover
Take all the worry out of your mind
Repeat chorus
I have the only key to your heart
I can stop you falling apart
Try today, you'll find this way
Come one and give me a chance to say
Let my love open the door
It's all i'm living for
Release yourself from misery
Only thing's gonna set you free
That's my love
Repeat chorus
When tragedy befalls you
Don't let them bring you down
Love can cure your problems
You're so lucky i'm around
Repeat chorus
6.Hands And Feet
An image flashed across my tv screen
Another broken heart comes in to view
I saw the pain and i turned my back
Why can't i do the things i want to?
I'm willing yet i'm so afraid
You give me strength
When i say
Chorus:
I want to be your hands
I want to be your feet
I'll go where you send me
I'ii go where you send me
Repeat
And i try, yeah i try
To touch the world like
You touched my life
And i find my way
To be your hands
I've abandoned every selfish thought
I've surrendered every thing i've got
You can have everything i am
And perfect everything
I'm not i'm willing,
I'm not afraid
You give me strength when i say
Chorus
This is the lifetime i turned my back on you
From now on, i'll go so
Send me where you want me to
I finally have a mission
I promise i'll complete
I don't need excuses
When i am your hands and feet
7.Jesus Movement
Have you ever been so inclined
Yeah, is it on your mind
The thought we're the lord's lone protege
Well i thought we were the only hope
Yeah, the world's safety rope
Americana has come, come to save the day
Imagine my surprise
To realize
Chorus- everywhere i go i can see
I'm not the only one
Moving moving to jesus
I went down to mexico
Mi amigo
And i found jesus living outside the usa
Imagine my surprise to realize
Chorus
8.Dc-10.
Do you know
Do you know
Do you know where you will go?
If a dc-10 ever fell on your head
Laying in the ground all messy and dead
Or a mack truck run over you
Or you suddenly die in your sunday pew
Do you know where you're gonna go
It can happen any day
It can happen any way
It can happen while you're nappin' in your easy chair
Happen at home
Happen at school
Happen while you're scattin' like a scattin' fool
Chorus
Do you know where you're gonna go
Do you know where you're gonna go
Do you know where you're gonna go
Straight to heaven
Or down the hole?
Chorus
747 fell out of heaven
Crashed through the roof of a 7-11
You're working on a slurpee
Things get hazy
Reach for a twinkie now you're pushing up daisies?
Do you know where you're gonna go?
9.It Is Well With My Soul
When peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well with my soul
Chorus:
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul
My sin o the joy of this glorious thought
My sin not in part but the whole
Is nailed to the cross and
I bear it no more paraise the lord, praise the lord,
O my soul
And lord haste the day
When my faith shall be sight
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll
The trump shall resound and
The lord shall descend
Even so it is well with my soul
10.This Day
It's six a.m
I'm so tired
The alarm sounds
And the new day begins
Before i go
And disturb this peaceful moment
I look to you
Chorus:
I want to say a prayer
Before my feet can hit the ground
Lord i give this day to you
I'm amazed how you forgive me
Yesterday seems so far behind
It's a brand new day
And every day's a new beginning
I look to you
Chorus
Breathe in
Breathe out
Breathe in
And watch the day begin
I wanna watch the day begin
Repeat chorus
11.It's Over
Farewell, so long to you
We've come to the end of the night
It's all been wonderful
A lovely and wonderful time
Say goodnight to
All the friends who
Rocked and rolled beside you
We hope you've enjoyed the show
It's over
It's over
It's all over now
This room will be empty soon
When the music and laughter is gone
This night will be forgot
But the joy you've found can go on
Say goodnight to
All the friends who
Rocked and rolled beside you
We hope you've enjoyed the show
It's over
It's over
It's all over now
The lights come down, don't lose your glow
When it's over
It's over
It's all over now
Is it all over?
Or has it just begun?
12.The Houseplant Song
Once i read a book
And this is what it said
If your music has a beat
Then you're gonna wind up dead
It doesn't really matter if it's christian or not
If it's syncopated rhythm then your soul is gonna rot
And this book was called 'ha! your gonna burn'
And in the second chapter i went on to learn
Chorus:
Take two houseplants
And put them to the test
Set them both in front of speakers
And let the music do the rest
The first one you play mozart
Or something lovely like that
The second one you play that petra or that megadeth.
Doesn't really matter what kind of rock it is.
So i took my two houseplants
And i put them to the test
Set them both in front of speakers
To let the music do the rest
I powered up my pioneers
To let the music roar
But twenty minutes later
Someone's knocking at my door
I opened up my door
And there my neighbor stood
He said, 'man i'd like to get some sleep
If you think i could'
I said, 'man, can't you see here
I've got this moral dilemma that i got to get clear.'
He said, ' what kind of moral dilemma
Could you have at this time of night
That could make me so angry
That i just want to fight!?'
So i pointed to the page in that open book
That had a picture of a potted plant
And i said, 'go have a look.'
And he read
Chorus
First of all he said,
'that's wagner that you're playing
I've never heard of petra
And isn't megadeth all dead.'
And secondly, emphatically, he asked me,
'what's the sense of hanging out with houseplants
When, hey,
I live right across the fence.'
And i thought to myself
You know, that's a good point
So i took my two houseplants, and
I put them both back outside
And me and my neighbor
Well, we went out for a drive
We talked about all the things
That really matter most
Like life and love and happiness
And then the holy ghost
And now my two houseplants
They sit out in the sun
As for me and my neighbor
Well our friendship has become
A meaningful relationship
That's headed straight to heaven
But as for now
We like to sit around and listen to audio adrenaline
Cranked to eleven!
